Job Overview:

Mount Lebanon School is seeking a full-time Registered School Nurse for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. This individual will assume the responsibility for appropriate assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, management, and referral activities for students in the school district. The School Nurse will function in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, and the school district’s policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships with students, staff, administration and families, and the ability to work as a

collaborative team member.

The regular work schedule is 7.5 hours a day, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute duty-free lunch. This position would fall under the Lebanon Education Association (Teacher’s Union).

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education is required.

·         NH Registered Nurse License required.

·         At least 3 years of nursing experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
