Job Overview:

The Lebanon School District is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the District’s Director of ECIA (Equity, Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment) and the Director of Human Resources.

 

The Administrative Assistant to the Directors of ECIA and Human Resources will serve as the front-facing person for the ECIA and HR Offices. The Administrative Assistant will also serve the District’s personnel needs by handling administrative tasks as assigned by the Directors of ECIA and Human Resources.

 

This position encompasses a range of human resources and curriculum support tasks, including record-keeping, data management, communication with educators and employees, and HR document processing. The ideal candidate will have relevant administrative skills, initiative, and the ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment with patience and a positive attitude.

 

Job Goals:

–          Posting of job vacancies on applicable job boards.

–          Intake of new hire application packets submitted by hiring managers.

–          Processing of new hire onboarding documentation, including the submittal of applicable benefit documents to the state of NH and/or applicable health/dental insurance company.

–          Submitting updated open enrollment forms to the applicable insurance company.

–          Assist the Director of Human Resources with sending District-wide communications as directed.

–          Coordination of Federal grants program record-keeping, including budget documents, online records, physical files, and updates within the state grants-management system

–          Coordination of purchasing and receiving materials and services for grant- funded activities.

–          Updating and maintaining curriculum documents; updating the curriculum website for the district.

–          Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and documents to support teachers in areas such as professional learning, recertification, and curriculum development work.

–          Any other duties as assigned by the Directors of ECIA and HR.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 15 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
