Job Overview:

Lebanon Middle School is seeking a full-time Digital Learning Specialist for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. This individual will teach 2 digital literacy classes and assist school staff and students in integrating technology.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships with students, staff, administration, and families, and the ability to work as a collaborative team member.

 

Performance Responsibilities:

–          Teach 2 digital literacy classes per day

–          Provide technical support for teachers, School staff, and students (such as device setup and troubleshooting, software support, and network connectivity)

–          Oversee technical setup of district and state standardized assessments, and classroom instruction responsibilities around digital literacy

–          New student and staff credentials setup and communication

–          Ensuring school building has the appropriate hardware distributed throughout the school

–          Helping teachers manage classroom sets of Chromebook

–          Helping track down missing computers

–          Running student home loaner Chromebook program

–          Processing repairs via SAU Ticket System with the SAU Technology Staff

–          Working with SAU Technology Staff imaging, software installations and updating school devices

–          Assist with preparation and utilization of the allocated school Technology budget

–          Any other duties as assigned by the school principal

Requirements:

–          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Digital Literacy,              or related field preferred.

–          Digital Learning Specialist NH Certification (0350)

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, quickly traverse the school campus to any applicable location, and reach with hands and arms as needed. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 30 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
